Paula Hutchings

Paula has heaps of experience of the people stuff having worked for 15 years in a variety of senior strategic leadership and organisational development roles before setting up The People Stuff.

She specialises in senior leadership development, strengths-based recruitment, employee engagement and culture change. She loves working with leaders brave enough to want to change the way they do things and who genuinely care about helping people fulfil their potential.

Paula divides her time between London and West Dorset. She is addicted to cooking and enjoys long walks in the countryside with her dog Freddie.

Gary Twynam

Gary really knows a thing or two about developing people. Before becoming a consultant, he was UK Life Training Manager at Commercial Union for 7 years and instrumental in helping the company through a period of significant change.

He has an MSc in Psychological Assessment and specialises in management development and team working.

Gary lives in Shropshire and in his spare time loves to write. He is currently writing a book on Performance Management.

Team Building

Working together brilliantly as a team is not always a given. People within teams are all individuals with different personalities and ways of approaching things. Added to that, some people prefer working in teams more than others do. Our work with teams does not brush these differences under the carpet but figures out how individuals can each play to their strengths and work together more collaboratively.

Because of this, we often get asked to come and help teams work better, or occasionally to sort things out before the wheels fall off completely. We do this by using our range of brilliant team profiling tools and well-designed exercises.
